Sega has finally confirmed the next Dreamcast title to be revamped and converted to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The release of a 20-second trailer is all that Sega had to do to hype the release of one of the biggest Dreamcast classics, which is Jet Set Radio.
Sega does not show any in-game footage in the 20-second trailer, but the trailer makes its point with the news that Jet Set Radio will be coming out on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. The new revamped release will feature enhanced graphics and better visuals, from what we are told. The question mark might be the soundtrack, as the previous Dreamcast release, Crazy Taxi, was very much hurt by the fact that the revamped version did not contain the original music.
Sources tell us that Jet Set Radio is on track for release in either late spring or early summer. The same sources also whispered to us that we should expect more announcements from Sega relating to an additional three Dreamcast titles that are expected to be revamped for release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No word yet on what those titles might be; but if Sega needs a few ideas they should let us know, as we could give them a few suggestions of some of the Dreamcast classics we think they should be considering.
