Both GTA 5 & Red Dead could be coming to PC

Rockstar hiring for PC developer, but ad was pulled

An ad from Rockstar that the developer was looking for a PC developer to deliver the highest quality experience on the PC was pulled. The ad has fueled speculation that the developer does intend to embark on a PC release for Grand Theft Auto V, and maybe Red Dead Redemption, if that ship hasn’t yet sailed.

Rumors that Rockstar would start work on a PC release for GTA 5 is a possibility that has not been entirely shot down. Dan Houser from Rockstar has admitted that a PC version is “under consideration,” but no official comment has been made beyond that.

What we have suspected all along is that the PC will get a release of GTA 5 along with both next-gen consoles, but only after the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game are completed. Once they are completed, Rockstar can then devote resources to working on PC and next-gen releases for GTA 5. Of course, this is unconfirmed hearsay at this point.
