Wii U to get COD: Advanced Warfare?

by on04 June 2014

Sources tell us that it will be announced at E3

Sources are telling us that the latest Call of Duty title that is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, which is known as Advanced Warfare is apparently getting a Wii U release. The news is quite interesting seeing as neither Sledgehammer nor Activision has mentioned this.

So far Advanced Warfare has been announced for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. There has been no talk of a possible Wii U version. The rumors have been fueled by the fact that COD: Advanced Warfare appears on the E3 2014 website being listed for the Wii U as well as all of the other previously announced platforms.

It would not be a total surprise if Advanced Warfare does get a Wii U release, but given the lack of 3rd party software development for the Wii U these days, one has to wonder exactly how successful it would be on this console. Other COD titles have been released on the Wii U, so it isn’t exactly beyond belief that a Wii U version might be released.
