The Opening Night Live event stream will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, the Games Awards creator, and there will be plenty to see with 2K, Activision, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bungie, Capcom, EA, Epic Games, Google Stadia, Koch Media/Deep Silver, Private Division (Take-Two), Sega, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, THQ Nordic, Ubisoft, Xbox Game Studios, as well as other publishers, all promising to show its upcoming games and content.

Hideo Kojima is the latest big addition, and he will join the stage to show "a new look at Death Stranding game".

The gamescom: Opening Night Live livestream on August 19th at 11 am PDT, 2 pm EDT, 7 pm BST, 8 pm CEST, while Gamescom show will kick off a day later, on August 20th, in Cologne, Germany.
