As you probably know, Activision and Treyarch have already announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Battle.net on November 13th, as well as Playstation 5 and Xbox One Series X at a later date.

PC version gets plenty of enhancements, Nvidia RTX as well

The PC version of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will bring several graphics enhancements, including 4K graphics support, uncapped framerate, multi- and wide-monitor support, as welll as Nvidia exclusive RTX effects, like RTX shadows, ambient occlusion, Nvidia DLSS and Reflex support, and more.

The new trailer shows some of those improvements for the PC version.

Minimum, recommended, recommended (Ray Tracing), competitive and Ultra RTX requirements revealed

Surprisingly, Activision has released a set of different system requirements, depending on how much eye-candy do you want to see and what kind of hardware you are running, and according to these specifications, you'll need 50GB for multiplayer, and 175GB for all game modes, 250GB in case you want to run the game at 4K resolution and Ultra RTX settings.

In short, the game will work on Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and either a Geforce GTX 670/GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon HD 7950 graphics card.

The recommended hardware for running the game at 50fps with medium settings include Core i5-2500K or Ryzen 5 1600X, with 12GB of RAM, and Nvidia GTX 970/1660 Super or Radeon R9 390/RX 580 graphics card.

In case you want to see those RTX effects at 60FPS, you'll need a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 1800X, 16GB of RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card. The same goes for competitive settings, which do not include RTX effects but get you high FPS for high refresh rate. In this case, you will need a GTX 1080/RTX 3070 or Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card.

The Ultra RTX settings are interesting, as these aim for high FPS at 4K resolution with RTX effects, and you'll need some serious hardware, including Core i9-9900K or Ryzen 7 3700X, 16GB of RAM, aforementioned 250GB of storage space, and Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card.
