Company of Heroes 3 gets first system requirements

by on15 July 2021

What you need to run the pre-alpha from Steam

As Relic's Company of Heroes 3 is now available on Steam as a Pre-Alpha preview, we now have some of the first official PC system requirements, and it appears the game won't be hard on the hardware.

While these PC system requirements will most likely change as the game draws closer to the official release, scheduled for next year, so far it looks good, as listed minimum system requirements include Intel Core i5 quad-core 8th generation CPU, 8GB of RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 or equivalent graphics card and 4GB of HDD storage space (which is strange and inaccurate, considering that you need at least 30GB of HDD space to install the pre-alpha version)

The recommended push those requirements up to Intel Core i7 quad-core 8th generation CPU, 8GB of RAM, and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 or equivalent graphics card.

You also need Windows 10 64-bit OS, which is not a big surprise.

Relic is keen to note that it is working on optimizing the game and promised it will work on a wide variety of PC hardware, so we expect that the game will have even lower hardware requirements when it launches next year and, hopefully, have much better CPU support by using more cores and threads.

You can check out the released announcement trailer below and find the pre-alpha preview version over at Steam.
