For many Sega studio games

Nvidia managed to score a deal with yet another (ex) console player, and this time we're talking about Sega. Sega plans to use PhysX for all its Sega studios and it also signed up with Nvidia to use Apex technologies.

Sega was using PhysX before and this is actually a renewal of an existing agreement and this brings a hope that in Sega studios, the guys will be able to produce better physics in games.

This is surely a big win for Nvidia, as Nvidia fights ATI and Intel who support (own) Havok physics, who is Nvidia PhysX main competitor. Havok is the more widely used of two physics technologies, and Nvidia knows that its The way its meant to be played program could do the trick to win even more PhysX supporters.

Sega now becomes the part of the physics saga.
