New update checking system

EVGA has
just released version 1.7.1 of its popular Precision GPU overclocking utility, and it looks like this is a smaller patch to the feature-rich 1.7.0 with a couple new noteworthy features.

For those unfamiliar with the utility, it allows users to fine-tune their EVGA graphics card for the maximum performance possible, with core/shaders/memory specific clock tuning, real time monitoring support including in-game, Logitech Keyboard LCD Display support, and compatibility with almost all EVGA graphics cards.

In addition to newly added support for Logitech Keyboard LCD displays, the utility can now use the keyboard’s soft buttons to scroll LCD text in any direction. Both vertical and horizontal scrolling can be easily reset by pressing up and down or left and right scroll soft-buttons simultaneously.

EVGA has also added an update checking system to this release, which we presume is a way for the program to receive new patches as development is progressed.

Precision 1.7.1 is available to EVGA registered members and can be downloaded here.
