Water cooling for the HD 5870 Crossfire

CoolIT is working on a water cooling setup that will enable AMD's new HD 5870 cards to reach higher clocks thanks to the power of water. The OMNI as CoolIT calls it, will be demonstrated today at AMD's TFE event in Taiwan, and we are quite sure that we will hear more about this one as soon as the event is over.

The only thing that we know so far is that this will be a factory sealed, maintenance free system for AMD's Evergreen GPU architecture, but we are not sure if any other cards beside the HD 5870 will be supported.

We managed to score some bigger pictures, or to be precise, renderings, of the OMNI Universal Liquid Cooling but as we mentioned, we are sure that more should be available after CoolIT presents it at AMD's TFE (Technical Forum & Exhibition 2009).

Here are the promised renderings.
