Good old Ultimate heatsink

You all
might remember Sapphire's Ultimate heatsink which was introduced back in the days of ATI's 9800 and 9600 cards, and now it has found its way to Sapphire's HD 5550 card.

Unlike HIS' low-profile card, Sapphire opted for a full size PCB, but the card still packs pretty much the same specs. It works at 550MHz for the core, has 320 stream processors and 1GB of DDR2 memory clocked at 800MHz paired up with a 128-bit memory interface.

The card takes up a single slot, although you must note that it has a back placed second heatsink which might interfere with some components depending on the layout of the motherboard and other installed components.

The new HD 5550 Ultimate is already listed and should be available in next few days with a price tag of around €80,-.
