Cebit 2009:
Working on HD 4600 series AGP cards

During CeBIT, we had a nice chat with one of the PowerColor reps and according to them, there is still some demand on AGP market. We're not sure about the demand as AGP's last stand was really the HD 3850, and even then it was basically an overkill, PowerColor decided to do some HD 4600 series cards in AGP.

We still don't know which card will PowerColor convert to AGP as there could do either the HD 4650 with DDR2 memory or the HD 4670 with GDDR3 memory, if not both of them, but in any case if there is a demand, PowerColor confirmed HD4000 based AGP cards.

The cards should be out in a few weeks, as PowerColor is working with AMD to approve the drivers for these cards. We just hope that the price will be at least close to the one for the PCI-Express version of those cards.
