RDNA 2 refresh possibly launching on May 10th

AMD's upcoming RDNA 2 refresh Radeon RX 6x50 series graphics cards have been pictured and should be launching on May 10th, according to fresh rumors.

As reported by Videocardz.com, citing Disclosuzen as a source, AMD's upcoming Radeon RX 6x50 series cards, including three new models, the Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT, and the Radeon RX 6650 XT, should launch on May 10th.

While there should not be any significant changes, at least according to rumors, the new SKUs will be coming with faster 18Gbps memory, possibly higher GPU boost clocks, and higher board power.

AMD is also using a new reference cooling solution, one that is pretty much identical to the Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black Editon. This includes an all-black design with a red Radeon logo. The Radeon RX 6950 XT will end up with a hefty triple-fan cooler, while the Radeon RX 6750 XT uses a smaller version of the same triple-fan cooler. The Radeon RX 6650 XT also switches to a dual-slot dual-fan cooler, rather than a single-fan solution.

More information should be coming soon as AMD AIB partners start finalizing their own designs.
