by on18 May 2023

Starting at $299

Nvidia has officially announced its complete Geforce RTX 4060 series graphics card lineup, including two Geforce RTX 4060 Ti models, with 8GB and 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and the Geforce RTX 4060 (non-Ti), with 8GB of memory. Starting at $299, the Geforce RTX 4060 series will bring Ada and DLSS 3 to the 60-class GPUs.

As rumored earlier, Nvidia will launch two Geforce RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards, with 8GB and 16GB of VRAM. Both will share the same specifications, featuring AD106 GPU with 34 SMs, leaving it with 4352 CUDA cores, 34 RT cores, 136 Tensor cores, and 48 ROPs. It has 22 TFLOPs of compute shared performance with 51 TFLOPs of RT performance, and the GPU boosts up to 2535MHz.

The Geforce RTX 4060 Ti has 32MB of L2 cache and comes with either 8GB or 16GB of 18Gbps GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit memory interface, which adds up to 288GB/s of memory bandwidth. The TGP is set at 160W for both the 8GB and 16GB versions.

The Geforce RTX 4060 is based on the AD107 GPU, featuring 24 SMs for a total of 3072 CUDA cores, 24 RT cores, 96 Tensor cores, and 32 ROPs. The shared compute performance peaks at 15 TFLOPs with an RT performance of 35 TFLOPs, while the GPU boost clock should be set at around 2450MHz. It has 24MB of L2 cache, and comes with 8GB of 17Gbps GDDR6 memory, with 272GB/s of memory bandwidth. The TGP is set at 115W.

Performance-wise, the Geforce RTX 4060 Ti should provide decent framerates with DLSS 3, at least according to Nvidia. The same goes for the RTX 4060, which should also provide at least 60fps in most titles. Of course, you should wait for some reviews where we can see where they actually stand with and without DLSS.

"The RTX 4060 family delivers PC gamers both great value and great performance at 1080p, whether they're building a gaming battle box or an AI-assisted creation station," said Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global GeForce marketing at NVIDIA. "These GPUs deliver an incredible upgrade, starting at just $299, putting Ada Lovelace and DLSS 3 in the hands of millions more worldwide."

As said earlier, the Geforce RTX 4060 series starts at $299, and this price is reserved for the Geforce RTX 4060 8GB graphics card, which will launch in July. The RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will launch on May 24th at $399, while the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB also comes in July, at $499. Most Nvidia AIC partners have announced their own versions, and there is plenty to choose from, from standard to OC versions.
