Remove our logo for your boxes please

EVGA won the legal case against XFX and the German court ordered XFX - part of the Pine BV group - to remove all the boxes with EVGA's logo from the channel.

As XFX is based in Holland, still a part of the European union, it has to comply to the court order or face the charge of at least €250.000 per violation plus the legal fees. XFX thought it was funny to use EVGA's logo on its 8600 GTS boxes, but the German court of justice didn't think it was funny at all.

EVGA won, so if XFX doesn’t remove all the boxes from the channel it will get fined. This is a really drastic move to protect your property and save your dignity, but you simply don’t mess with some things.
