Forgets to mention that it has HDMI

Albatron has announced a new graphics card, or Blue Ray (Blu-ray to the rest of us) decoder card based on the Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT GPU. The card features DVI and Component video outputs according to the press release, as well as HDCP compliance.

However, if you look closely at the picture below, you'll notice that the card also has an HDMI connector, far more useful for connecting this graphics card to a HDTV set. For some reason Albatron forgot to mention this in the press release and on its website, ouch.

The mixed up specifications don't stop there, as the Albatron website currently claims that the card has 320MB of memory, while the press release states 256MB of GDDR3 memory. The GPU should be clocked at 450MHz and the memory at 800MHz, if those details are correct.

Apart from the messed up press release and specifications, this looks like a decent card for a HTPC system, the only other thing that isn't clear is how audio is done, since the card doesn't seem to have any onboard S/PDIF connector, so hopefully this works over the PCI Express bus.

You can find Albatron's product page here.
