Last week we had a chance to see MSI's external notebook station and we can confirm that the thing works quite well. It will get you decent graphic support to your notebook and some additional displays if you need them.

This box can take care of 2600XT or Geforce 8600GT card and it also has the 7.1 sound capability. It connects to PC card port and it works. MSI still haven’t confirmed when they will be able to launch this concept but we know that Asus has delayed its XG station for almost six months now.

I guess there are some obstacles to bring such a product to market but I can see the market for it, as there will be a lot of proud IGP owners that will want to play some decent games on their notebooks.

The only thing we dont really get about this product is are you only going to be able to play on external monitor or you will be able to play on your notebook display. Here is how that looks.
