Sapphire has announced its version of "Gemini" card powered with two Radeon HD 2600 X2, RV630 chips.
Unlike the Gecube's Gemini, Sapphire's Dual HD 2600 X2, comes
with GDDR3 memory .
Sapphire's HD 2600 X2 Dual GPU's are clocked at 800MHz, and the card
will come with an options of 512MB or 1GB of GDDR3 memory clocked also at
800MHz (1600 MHz effective). It has four Dual link DVI outputs, and a
TV output. As the entire HD 2600 series this card also has HDMI support
over the DVI-HDMI adapter.
The card is cooled actively with two fans which sounds a bit too much, and
we hope that the card is not too loud. It has support for Shader Model
4.0 and DirectX 10. It looks like dual GPU solutions are finally
kicking in.
