Shanghai 07:  DAAMIT under the hood

PR200 is MSI's top 12 inch model powered with Intel Centrino Duo platform. Its AMD brother has the PR210 name. This notebook is powered with Turion 64 TL56 dual core chip and AMD's 1270 chipset that has some kind of graphics.

The machine is finally ready for production and it should be available very soon.

This notebook has AMD's branding tags that we mentioned back in July here and it is powered with AMD's Turion 64X2 CPU, ATI Radeon graphics and Atheros wireless. It is natural to know that this notebook comes with Vista pre installed and physically it looks almost identical to PR200. The test machine that we've seen in Shanghai area worked at 1.8GHz and had 895MB memory for Vista and the rest of 1024 was reserved for the integrated graphic.

It will be fun to compare them but we believe that the AMD one will have the lower battery life as Intel really did a good job with the battery but at the same time AMD one should end up cheaper.
