With MSI NX8800 GT DisplayPort Series

MSI has announced a new graphics card in its 8800 GT series line-up. This new 8800 GT will come with 1GB of GDDR3 memory and a native DisplayPort output. Since MSI isn't one of the four that got the 8800 GS,  the 8800GT is definitely the way to go and MSI did it with style.

The 1GB memory and DisplayPort aren't the only innovation that MSI has decided to implement on its new 8800 GT. The new card is cooled by MSI's unique X-type single slot, dual heatpipe cooling solution which, according to the MSI's press release, is very close to Zalman's VF1000 dual slot performance. The new MSI X-type can hold the 8800GT at 60°C under full load, which is a great result.

This card should be available sometime in February and since it has a lot of features, like 1GB of memory, DisplayPort and non-reference cooling, the price tag might be a bit higher than on most of the 8800 GTs on the market.
