A French store is selling Radeon 4850 for under €150, or €147 to be precise. The card scores quite well and FSAA score is way better than 38x0 generation and it comes close to 3870X2, especially with FSAA turned on, but, of course, it’s slower than these two chips.

The card is available today or it should be available today in most of the world and even people in Portugal, Israel and Slovenia can buy one.

Slovenians have to spend €170 for the same product, but this probably has to do with buying quantity as the more you buy the better price you get.

Radeon 4870 won't show its face until mid next week and even then it might be hard to find, thanks to the GDDR5 shortage.
