OCZ launches new Flex EX memory

Four 4GB kits

OCZ has announced a new Flex EX memory series that will be available as a both DDR3 and DDR2 kits. As all previous Flex memory kits, this new series will also be ready for water cooling.

The new Flex EX series DDR2 lineup will include the PC2-9600 4GB kit working at 1200MHz with 6-6-6-18 latencies and the PC2-6400 Flex EX 4GB kit working at 800MHz with 4-4-3-15 latencies. Both of these kits are rated to work at 2.1V.

The DDR3 lineup also consists of two kits, the PC3-16600 4GB kit working at 2000MHz with 8-8-8-30 latencies at 2.0V. The other DDR3 kit is the PC3-12800 working at 1600MHz with 7-6-6-24 latencies and at 1.9V.

The new Flex EX XLC (Xtreme Liquid Convention) aluminum heatsinks are offering both passive and active cooling options. All Flex EX series kits are backed by a lifetime warranty.
