New TridentZ DDR4 memory kits

G.Skill came in style to Intel Developer Forum 2015 currently held in San Francisco and demoed its two new TridentZ DDR4 memory kits, running at 4266MHz and 4133MHz.

While G.Skill currenly holds the highest DDR4 frequency memory record with Ripjaws 4 modules, which were overclocked by Chi-Kui Lam to a rather impressive 4901.6MHz, as recorded at HWBOT.org, this did not stop G.Skill to make some rather impressive kits that will have high frequency even when not cooled with LN2, the TridentZ DDR4-4266 8GB (2x4GB) and the TridentZ DDR4-4133 8GB (2x4GB).

Both running on Intel Z170 chipset based motherboards from ASRock and Asus, paired up with Intel's flagship Skylake Core i7-6700K CPU, these two kits are currently the fastest DDR4 kits seen live on air-cooled demo systems, according to G.Skill.

Frank Hung, Product Marketing at G.Skill noted that they are seeing amazing performance potential for the new DDR4 memory technology on the new Intel platform and are excited to see where such performance will take them in the near future.

While only demoed in 8GB (2x4GB) kits, we are quite sure that the new TridentZ DDR4 line will be available in higher capacity kits as well as different configurations. Unfortunately, G.Skill did not reveal any details regarding availability date or the price.
