Windows readyboost spotted

One of the wolrd's biggest memory companies have a new USB 2.0 key that supports Vista Readyflast feature. This is a rather nice feature where your flash drive can theoretically speed up your Vista. We tried it and it helps a bit but not that much.

The new drive is called DataTraveler ReadyFlash USB 2.0 and it comes in 1 GB or 2 GB sizes. The 1 GB one will sell for 14 pounds sterling while the 2 GB one will go to etail and retail for SRP of 25 punds.

This memory key will be able to extend your working memory and if notebook has 1GB of memory only the USB key will help it precache some of the files on the USB drive. Vista supports this feature, and it worked even with beta versions.

The device comes with five years waranty.
