SE launched four new phones

Sony Ericsson
yesterday officially launched 4 new phones, the Sony Ericsson P1, T250, T650 and S500.

The P1 is the top of the range business oriented smart phone addition to the P-series. It is a 3G phone with 3.2 megapixel camera, WLAN (802.11b) with VoIP enabled protocol and it is 25% smaller than the P990. It is based on the Symbian operating system (v9.1) and UIQ 3.0. It also comes with a touch screen, and dual function keyboard - full QWERTY (2 symbols are represented on each side of one key) similar to that of the M600i. It will be available in Europe from Q3 2007.

The T250 is a low-budget phone with a classic design in metal finish with VGA camera and built-in FM radio. It weights 82 grams and it is only 12.6 mm thick. The Sony Ericsson T250 will be available in two versions (GSM/GPRS 900/1800 and GSM/GPRS 850/1900) and will ship in Europe from Q3 2007.

The T650 is a 3G phone with a stainless steel finish and it has scratch-proof mineral glass that protects the screen. It is SE first phone which have desktop animations linked to light effects on the keypad. It also has a 3.2 megapixel camera and it is 12.5 mm slim. It will be available in Europe from Q3 2007.

The S500 is a 2.5G, 14mm slim, slider phone with a 2 megapixel camera with one interesting feature. The visuals on the desktop or phone menu can change automatically as the seasons pass or as day turns to night. Hidden illumination appears to highlight a certain event and the keypad glows with energy when the slim slider is opened.It will be in the shops in Europe from Q2 2007.
