Grand total almost 1.4 million

According to Engadget, Apple has managed to sell 1,119,000 iPhones in Q4 2007.

This brings the grand total of units sold to 1.389 million since its debut back in June, and the million mark was reached in only 74 days on the market.

So far the company has only been offering the iPhone in the U.S. market, but in just over two weeks, on November 9, the craze is set to repeat in the U.K., as well. Other major European countries will follow suite soon after.

Some commentators believe that legislation in certain European countries, such as France and Belgium, will force Apple to offer an unlocked version of the popular phone, but we'll have to see it to believe it.
