HTC One might get stock Android after all

by on24 May 2013

Despite official denial

HTC might be working on a “Nexus Edition” HTC One after all. The company denied plans to introduce a version with stock Android just days ago, but it might be at least considering a Senseless version.

Geek.com reports that HTC is indeed mulling such a release, which makes a lot more sense now that Samsung and Google have announced a stock Android version of the Galaxy S4.

Sources told Geek.com that HTC might announce the phone over the next few weeks. Although we know quite a few people who prefer stock Android over Sense or TouchWiz, the same works both ways. Some punters are just used to Sense, but more variety couldn’t hurt, could it?
