LG G Flex to get 4K video recording with KitKat update

by on05 March 2014

Still too expensive

LG's G Flex curved smartphone certainly gave the company some braging rights as it not only scored the 2014 iF Design Award but is also the main reason LG was named the "most innovative manufacturer" at MWC 2014. Judging by the leaked User Agent profile, the LG G Flex will get the missing 4K video recording feature with its upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat update.

The leaked screenshot of the User Agent profile shows the list of video recording modes and the 2160p is among them. The 4k video recording is a big thing and missing it on LG G Flex was one of the things that users did not like on the G Flex so it is definitely a welcomed update.

Unfortunately, the LG G Flex is still quite expensive and in Germany it goes for around €850 on Amazon while France has it for around €750 and in the UK it goes for around £590. There is no official date for the LG G Flex Android 4.4 KitKat update and we certainly hope that LG will not wait too long to push it out as it is certainly not a great way to treat your most expensive smartphone.
