This is naturally successor to the Galaxy Tab S series and it packs nice specs. It comes with an octa-core  Exynos 5433, a 20nm chip that combines four A57 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and four A53 clocked at 1.3 GHz. It comes with Mali T7600 MP6 graphics from the house of ARM clocked at 700 MHz. It packs a 2048x1536 Super AMOLED display with 3GB of RAM and it comes with either 32GB or 64GB storage. Samsung sure did its homework this time, as there is a microSD card for extra storage on both devices. Camera lovers will get an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front camera on both tablets.

We wont tell you that 9.7 and 8.0 inches are exactly the same sizes of the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3. The iPad Air 2 is 6.1 millimetre so good 0.5 millimetre thicker and with 437 grams significantly heavier than the 9.7 Samsung tablet that weighs 389g. The iPad mini 3 weighs 331 grams and is 7.5 millimetre thick, much heavier and thicker than Samsung's Galaxy S2 8.0. 

They will both ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop and in case you are one of the people that record video with your tablet you will be able to record QHD(2560x1440)@30fps and playback UHD(3840x2160)@30fps.

Both tablets will come in LTE flavour, but only in select market that are willing to pay for this premium. LTE version will be 3 grams heavier on the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and 2 grams heavier on the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. The bigger one measures 169 x 237.3 x 5.6mm, 389g(Wifi)/392g(LTE) while the smaller one measures 134.8 x 198.6 x 5.6mm and weighs 265g(Wifi)/ 272g(LTE).

Both tablets supports LTE : 700/ 800/ 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900/ 2100/ 2600 bands in 4G, 3G : 850/ 900/ 1900/ 2100 and 2G : 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900.

 At this time Samsung didn’t share any pricing on these new tablets.
