Xiaomi Mi MIX hands-on videos show a bit more skin

Not as bezel-less as expected. Oooooh

After a big Mi MIX surprise during the Mi Note 2 smartphone launch, Xiaomi has released a couple of trailer videos for the new smartphone but we also got a few hands-on videos that show a bit more details.

The Mi MIX is certainly a game changer and whatever happens now doesn't change the fact that Xiaomi did something great and has finally put some decent competition in the high-end market making both Samsung and Apple sweat.

In addition to some of the first press images, including the one above, Xiaomi also released a few videos that talk about both the design of the ceramic body, specifications and more.

Although press images and official videos are great, the hands-on videos are always better. One of those that we stumbled upon, coming from Marques Brownlee, shows a lot more details, including the fact that the bezels are not as thin as it was initially showed in those press images as well as the fact that the Xiaomi Mi MIX is a fingerprint magnet, which was expected from an all-black ceramic body.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX still looks like a great high-end smartphone considering it costs about 50 percent less than most high-end smartphones on the market and packs both decent hardware as well as a somewhat different design.

We are certainly looking forward to some of the first reviews that should come after it officially goes on sale on November 4th, with a price set at RMB 3,499/ US $515 for the standard 4GB/128GB version and RMB 3999/ US $590 for the special 6GB/256GB Mi MIX 18K version.
