Lenovo P2 has a three-day charge

5,100mAh battery and fast charging

The people at Lenovo have hit upon an interesting gimmick for their P2 phone – they are flogging it with a three-day battery life.

It makes some sense. After all, most of the phones out there have similar specs and the same operating system so why not peddle something that people want.

The P2 has a huge 5,100mAh battery as well as fast-charging features. There's also a physical power saving switch on the side of the phone that will power down the phone to its most basic functions.

The phone is not much thicker than the rivals. It is 8.5 mm which is rather good given the extra battery life.

Other than that it is a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a full-metal unibody design, 13MP camera, 5MP selfie camera and 32GB of on board storage.

It has a headphone jack which makes it more useful than an iPhone and the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor we’ve seen in the rather good Asus Zenfone 3.

It will be out in the UK next week and will probably be about $249.28
