OnePlus 7 Pro gets Android 10

Oxygen updated to the rescue

OnePlus 7Pro is one impressive phone with great hardware and display, and the fact that it started supporting Android 10 quite early is an additional plus for many. The phone manufacturer started rolling out Oxygen 10 based on Android 10, and in case it didn’t show up on your device, there is a fast track for it.

Some users started getting the update almost a week ago, but most are still stuck with 9.5.11 and have to wait for their turn. The app called Oxygen updater will let you download the Oxygen 10.0.0 based ROM via fast track right away. The app will let you access and download 2035 MB heavy OS, and the only catch is that you will have to start your own installation.

The installation steps are very clear; all you need to do is go to the update menu, chose local update, and pick the downloaded ROM file. That is it, as, after the install, you reboot your phone, and you are good to go.

Oxygen OS 10.0.0.0 update changelog include Android 10 operating system, a brand new UI design, enhanced location permission for privacy, a new customization feature in settings, full-screen gestures, inwards swipes to go back, bottom navigation bar allows switching left or fight from recent apps.

Game space is the new feature that will keep your games in one place, and the smart display feature promises intelligent info on specific times, location and events for Ambient display and Messages now come with a bock spam option.

There is one big Android 10 feature missing, the systemwide dark mode. The feature is nowhere to be found, and our best guess is that this was not ready in time to launch with this ROM. There is most likely update that resolves this coming shortly. T-Mobile US users should stay away from this ROM, as it doesn't support their device.
