The Honor Magic8 Lite is the successor of the Magic7 Lite launched just under a year ago. It features a 6.79-inch 2640x1200 OLED screen between 1.3mm thin bezels with 120Hz refresh rate and 6,000nits peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM Risk-free Dimming, and is powered by Qualcomm's quite capable Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC paired up with 8GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. Honor equipped the new Magic8 Lite with a main 108MP camera and a 5MP ultrawide one, while the front one has a 16MP sensor.
What makes the Magic8 Lite special is a hefty 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, promising up to 52.5 hours of music streaming, 23.8 hours of online video playback, or 16.8 hours of gaming, all on a single charge. It supports 66W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
The phone also got IP69K water resistance, and promises to be quite rugged, surviving drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters (onto certain surfaces). It features Honor's Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, Non-Newtonian fluid, and new ultra-deep tempered glass.
The Honor Magic8 Lite is available in Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown color options, and will be launching in early 2026, alongside the Honor Magic8 Pro.
