Computex 07: Low-end for AMD


Graphics card manufacturer Galaxy has moved into the motherboard market and was showing off a range of low-end microATX motherboard based around various Nvidia chipsets for AMD's AM2 socket.

The board use the GeForce 7050PV and 7025 chipset and feature integrated graphics. One board had HDMI while the other had DVI.

The remaining features were quite similar as both boards had a D-sub connector, 7.1-channel sound, two memory slots, a x16 PCI Express slot, a x1 PCI Express slot, two PCI slots and four SATA connectors.

Neither board looked that exciting, but they should be decent platforms for a HTPC or entry level machine.
