Another way to improve the bottom line

In a surprise
move, Asus is said to be thinking about outsourcing some of its own branded motherboards to Foxconn. Foxconn is not the only company that is said to be partnering with Asus. OEM notebook maker Quanta is also said to have begun building some notebooks for Asus, as well.

This is all part of Asus’s spin-off of its own branded products and contract manufacturing divisions that will make up Pegatron technology. Asus is no stranger to motherboard outsourcing, as it has a track record of outsourcing motherboard manufacturing during the peak production season.
