Foxconn has announced yet another motherbord from their Digital Life series. The new motherboard, named A79A-S, will be based on DAAMIT's 790FX Northbridge in combination with the new SB750 Southbridge.

This AM2/AM2+ features HyperTransport 3.0, four PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, DDR2-1066 memory and quad-CrossfireX support. The PCI-Express x16 slots will run in dual x16 or quad x8 modes. The most noted feature is called AOD Extreme, courtesy of DAMMIT's new SB750 Southbridge, and it should bring additional overclocking potential to Phenom processors.

The new motherboard will also feature 7.1 channel integrated audio with Foxconn's Dual Digital Audio feature, which provides more ways of getting the audio signal in and out of this motherboard. The integrated audio solution comes with Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect certification.

Other notable features are two Gigabit Ethernet ports, 100% solid capacitor design, six SATA 3.0 and two eSATA ports.
