VIA shows the new Pico-ITX motherboard

The guys from VIA, behind the design of the possible Intel Atom killer called Nano CPU, have shown off a design of the new Pico-ITX motherboard, the EPIA P700.

Measuring 10 x 7.2 cm, the board features VIA's VX700 Northbridge packed with UniChrome Pro II DirectX 9 capable integrated graphics. The new Pico-ITX motheboard can be equipped with either a 1.0GHz C7 CPU or the 500MHz ULV Eden CPU. It comes with a single DDR2 SO-DIMM slot with support for up to 1GB of DDR2 533/677 memory.

The new EPIA P700 also features one SATA and one UDMA 133/100 port, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, PS/2 port and both CRT and DVI ports.

Both EPIA P700 designs are now available for developers.
