A total of 22 boards

MSI has issued a list of motherboards that will be able to cope with AMD's AM3 and AM2+ 45nm CPUs. The list also includes a list of BIOS versions that are needed in order to expand the CPU support base for the mentioned motherboards.

Most of the motherboards are based on AMD's 780G and 790GX chipsets with a couple of motherboards based on the 780V and 770 chipsets. There are also some with Nvidia's 780a and 750a SLI chipsets. MSI made sure that the list included its top-notch DKA790GX Platinum and DKA790GX, which are first AMD motherboards to come with DrMOS.

All we need now is some AM2+ 45nm and AM3 45nm CPUs so that we and probably even MSI would be happy. You can find the full list and BIOS links here.
