Another basic dual core Atom board

A little bit late to the game, Gigabyte has finally launched its first dual core Atom 330 mini-ITX motherboard in the shape of the GA-GC330UD, although we can't say that we're overly excited about this model, as it doesn't really have any unique features.

As will all current Atom desktop boards, this one uses the Intel 945GC chipset. It also has a single DIMM for up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, two SATA ports, one IDE connector, a single PCI slot and two headers for an additional four USB 2.0 ports. This is also the first Atom motherboard from Gigabyte to feature Dual BIOS which is a nice touch.

Around the back you'll find a pair of PS/2 ports, a parallel and serial port (does anyone outside the IPC market still use these?), a D-sub connector, four USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100Mbit Ethernet port and three audio jacks that supports up to 5.1-channel audio.

We don't know when this board will hit retail, nor do we have price at the moment, but we'd expect this board to be fairly affordable.
