Will not go on sale

A set of pictures featuring a full black version of the ROG Rampage IV Extreme has showed up at Asus ROG site. Based on the same design layout as the original ROG Rampage IV Extreme the new one will never reach e-tail/retail shelves as this one is made for some special project.

In case you missed it, the Asus ROG Rampage IV Extreme Black is based on Intel X79 Express chipset, supports Intel socket LGA2011 processors, up to 64GB of quad-channel DDR3 memory in eight DIMM slots, as well as 4-way SLI/Crossfire and comes fully packed with all the standard Asus ROG features.

According to a post over at Asus ROG Nordic Facebook page, the ROG Rampage IV Extreme Black will not be available for sale and Asus only made a few of those for a small project. The ROG.Asus.com site notes that those motherboards are currently at Nvidia HQ and we would surely want to see more of that special project.
