Lost in the price updates

We missed out on reporting about some new mobile processors that Intel snuck out last week, amidst all the price drops. The new processore are the low Voltage Core 2 Duo L7700 clocked at 1.8GHz, the ultra low Voltage Core 2 Solo U2200 and 2100, clocked at 1.2 and 1.06GHz respectivley.

The L7700 operates at an 800MHz FSB and has 4MB of L2 cache and should cost $316. It also pushed the price down by 10 percent of the L7500 to $284.

The U2200 and U2100 both works on a 533MHz bus and both have 1MB or L2 cache. The U2200 is priced at $262 which the U2100 at $241.

Also new is the Celeron Mobile 550, which is clocked at 2GHz, works at a 533MHz bus and has 1MB L2 cache. It's priced at $134 and it pushed down the price of the 540 version by 20 percent to $107.

Intel also dropped the price of the Celeron Mobile M530 from $107 to $86, to put its pricing in line with the Celeron Mobile 530 which was also launched. Both processors are clocked at 1.73GHz, works at a 533MHz bus and has 1MB of L2 cache.

Finally we have the ultra low Voltage Celeron M 523 which is clocked at a mere 933MHz. It works on a 533MHz bus, has 1MB L2 cache and will cost $161.
