Comes in Q4

As the release of Intel's dual-core Atom processor is getting closer, it was about time that we have a first picture of this little dual-core thing. Thanks to the guys from Chinese Engadget, we can see the new Atom in all its glory. The new Atom 330 should start to appear sometime later this month.

In case you missed it, the new Atom 330 has two cores working at 1.6GHz with four threads, comes with 1MB of L2 cache and has a 533MHz FSB. The picture also shows a small part of the motherboard and the blue PCB suggests that it might be from Gigabyte, as Intel is using green PCBs on its D945GCLF2.

New nettops and netbooks powered by this dual-ore Atom should start to appear sometime in Q4. You can find more details here.
