IDF 2010: Here it is

Intel has changed the logo for its next processor generation, again. The upcoming 32nm Sandy Bridge architecture is an important step in terms of media capability, as it delivers much better performance than current Intel Core series processors thanks to superior integrated graphics.

Intel CEO Paul Ottelini promises that what took hours and minutes with a 32nm Westmere-based processor will take mere seconds with Sandy Bridge thanks to Integrated Processor Graphics (IPG) acceleration.

Here is the new upcoming Intel Core series logo. Only the middle of the logo been changed, and some might notice the perceptual difference. We already wrote about the new CPU numeric branding and you can check out the full explanation here.
