by on02 April 2019

Where have you been all this time?

Sony's spinoff – the Vaio Corporation – has released two notebook PCs, after an absence from the main European markets for a number of years.

The Vaio SX14 and the A12 weigh 1,000 grams and 999 grams respectively, with both PCs built in Japan but distributed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and the UK by Trekstor.

The SX14 comes with either Intel i7 or i5 microprocessors while the A12 model is a 2-in-1 device and includes a touch display.

Both devices support HDMI, USB3.1, USB Type-C, Bluetooth and wi-fi/LAN. Vaio claims a battery life of 8.5 hours on the SX14 and 7.5 hours on the A12. They both include GPS support and fingerprint scanners while the A12 includes an infrared camera for Windows Hello.

Prices depend on configuration – and Vaio/Trekstor are selling them on a website, here.
