But main focus is on Zen 3 with 3D V-Cache

AMD will have a big presentation at the CES 2022 show and while it is known that we will hear about the new notebook chips, new Threadripper, as well as the new Zen 3 desktop chips with 3D V-Cache, it appears that AMD will also talk about the next generation Zen 4 chips as well.

AMD has already scheduled its CES 2022 press conference for January 4th, where we expect to see the next-generation Ryzen 6000 series chips for laptops, the new Threadripper Pro 5000 series chips, as well as the Zen 3 desktop chips with 3D V-Cache, but it appears that we might also hear more about the future products as well, especially the Zen 4 chips.

In an interview held by Antony Leather, AMD's CTO, Mark Papermaster, has confirmed that Zen 4 will be a part of the CES 2022 presentation. Papermaster has confirmed that the company plans to reveal some additional details on Zen 4 but the main focus will be on Zen 3 3D V-cache desktop chips.

AMD has unveiled its new server parts, and we have already seen some of the first details on Raphael and Phoenix CPU/APU consumer-oriented Zen 4-based lineup, which are rumored for the Computex 2022 announcement.

In any case, AMD's CES 2022 presentation will have some interesting details and you can check out the full interview in the Crazytechlab Youtube video below.
