Review: Once a mouse, always a mouse

Today, we give you a sequel to our Pleomax mice review from a few days ago. So without further ado, let's see what they have to offer.

Samsung Pleomax Slim Mouse

This is a nice looking optical mouse, and it goes by the codename SPM-4500. Due to its dimensions it's practical and would definitely be a great notebook mouse. This is a USB mouse, but Pleomax ships their PS/2 adapter in the package.

This mouse isn't quite ergonomic. It seems like the guys at Pleomax paid more attention to elegance and functionality, because SPM's 800 dpi is quite precise, but due to its design, it's not quite suited for long hours of work. The mouse has 2 buttons and a scroll wheel. It has a blue-colored LED lamp on the top, but the color sometimes changes to red or purple, which is also the case with the optical LED on the bottom.

Conclusion:

Dimensions and weight-wise, this mouse is a great choice for notebook users, but only those who choose elegance over ergonomics. Still, the price seems right, and you can get it for about 10 Euro.

Samsung Pleomax Zen (edition)

Based on its appearance alone, we’d call it a charmer.

By the looks of it, it would definitely look good in your boss’s office. Resolution of around 800 dpi is more than enough for office work. Due to only two buttons it’s not too practical for gamers or more advanced users.

You might think that its sharp edges would make long hours of work a pain, but you should reserve your opinion until you try it. We were quite surprised seeing this sharp edged mouse fit into our hand perfectly. The left button, as well as the scroll wheel, glow blue and they add to the charmer looks. In the package you also get PS/2 adapter.

Conclusion:

A great mouse for office users, both left-handed and right-handed ones, because this mouse has been designed to please them all. The price is also right, around 18 Euro.

Samsung Pleomax Laser Mouse

Its dimensions doomed it to be a notebook mouse and to always sit in bag pockets, but its performance made it, at least for us, one of the best mice we’ve seen from Pleomax. It has 2 buttons, a scroll-wheel, and its dimensions are 94x53x33mm and it weighs around 80 grams.

Resolution of 1600dpi makes this mouse really precise. If it was a little bit bigger and had two additional buttons, we’re confident that many gamers would choose it for their arsenal. This way, it’s bound to become a notebook helper. On the other hand, that doesn’t have to be that bad; at least it will see the world.

Conclusion:

If you’re looking for a notebook mouse, and you still haven’t decided on which one you want – we sincerely recommend this model. Just like with the previous models, the price is great – only about 13 Euro.
