AMD to cut a lot of its staff

A few hundred in Toronto


We heard that AMD plans to lay off a lot of its working force, more than a few hundred as we heard. As the company already cut on the managers before we heard that it might cut the engineering force.

The reason is simple, DAAMIT has a lot of money to pay and is in some serious debts. We heard that the Toronto office will suffer some big cuts, a few hundred is the number we heard.
