DCC 2007:
No paper launch

Sources has confirmed that Barcelona a server K10 will be fully available from a few server manufactures at the launch day. So If Barcelona launches in late September or early October when we expect it, you can bet that it will be available in servers from HP and some other usual suspects.

As the marchitecture is backward compatible you can simple plug one or two new CPUs and your old Opteron server should work with a new quad core.

We hope that AMD is right for its sake as a lot of people lost the confidence in Barcelona and its time to market.
