Call of Duty 4 patch coming on the weekend

For PS3 and XboX 360

Infinity Ward's Community Manager, Robert Bowling, released more information on the long-awaited PS3 and XboX 360 patch for Call of Duty 4.

The certification with Microsoft went without a hitch, and the same is expected with Sony. Although this is still not officially confirmed, we’re hoping that the patch might see the light of day sometime this weekend.

The post itself discloses another piece of information – one of the maps from Download Content should be a real treat for CoD lovers. "During this DLC test we’re going to be recording some video of one of the maps for SpikeTV / GameTrailers that I did an interview with last week talking about this specific map. It’s a bit further along with the rests and is a special treat to some of our “loyal” Call of Duty players that I know a lot of you are going to love, especially you Sgt. Payback.“

We'll soon know more, as soon as the pre-release screenshots find their way online.
