Turion II Neo X2 and Mobility Radeon HD 4225

Announced back in May, when AMD started to promote its ultra-thin platform, the 11.6-inch Acer Aspire 1551 has now finally appeared in retail/e-tail. Listed at €499, this 11.6-incher features AMD's Turion II Neo K325 CPU, 2GB of memory and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics.

The Turion II Neo X2 K325 dual-core is clocked at 1.3GHz and the rest of the features include a 320GB HDD, 802.11bgn WiFi, an HDMI output, Multi-Touch trackpad, 11.6-inch glare LED screen with 1366x768 resolution and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The second SKU features a 1.5GHz clocked Turion II Neo X2 K625, 4GB of memor, while the rest of the specs remained unchanged. Additional 2GB of memory and 200MHz more for the CPU costs €100 more, so be sure to chose your priorities once this one becomes available.
