Samsung preparing Gloria tablet for 2011

Written by Slobodan Simic

With slide-out keyboard
Blogeee.net managed to score some details regarding the upcoming Samsung 10-inch tablet that should appear sometimes in April or March next year.

The Gloria, as Samsung named it, is a 10-inch slate device running Windows 7 with Samsung customization in order to make it a bit more touch friendly. Another neat concept feature is the slide-out keyboard that should be featured. By the looks of it, this just might turn out to be great for those not very fond of touch screen keyboards.

The only detail regarding it is the mentioned date which is set for April or March 2011. Whether it is based on Intel's Oak Trail platform or something else, it is still unknown.

More here.

Samsung is absolutely BEASTING in the mobile industry right now...I won't be surprised if they really become the numnber 1 OEM for mobile devices like smartphones, tabs etc...

they have already out-gunned HTC this year with their smartphone portfolio.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for. Hopefully it's as good as it looks. Of course there will be plenty to follow in Samsung's path with these slide out keyboards.

next year is samsung's big chance to get right at the top.made good progress this year against the likes of HTC, and with the new gen tech next year, a great opportunity awaits.

I don't get it, if you want a keyboard why don't you buy a laptop?

or a netbook , if that matters .
If it's a fusion , it's rugged indeed .
If it's oak trail , it should be taken outside and shot , no trial , no last breakfast , and no flowers please .
If it's oak trail , you would be better off with a P IV
